The next-generation Volt has been impressing critics and piquing customer interest thanks to all its improvements in both style and performance.
The next-generation Volt has been making waves in the news pretty consistently recently. The Volt has been impressing critics and piquing customer interest thanks to all its improvements in both style and performance. Now, the Volt is getting even more attractive as Chevy keeps announcing new incentives for customers to buy a Volt for themselves.
Most recently, the brand announced that the 2016 Chevrolet Volt would be eligible to drive in California carpool lanes, even as a single occupancy vehicle. This privilege proved very successful to the first-generation Volt, which saw sales skyrocket in California after announcing this privilege. While the first-generation Volt had to wait a year and a half to get the privilege, the new Volt will have it from day one.
Chevrolet has also been working to make the new Volt more affordable. Recently, they lopped $1,175 off the car’s starting price, which brings it down to $33,995 including the $825 destination fee. Thanks to federal and local tax incentives and the car’s unreal fuel economy numbers—it gets the equivalent of 102 mpg on electricity and 41 mpg on hybrid power—the Chevy Volt will actually be saving you money before you know it. Come see us at Graham Chevrolet today to learn more.

Chevrolet thought the Bolt and Volt names were too similar, but after a few consumer studies, the new Chevy Bolt will officially be keeping its name.
After undergoing a few consumer studies, the new Chevy Bolt will officially be keeping its name. Chevy conducted the studies only to see whether the name similarity between the Bolt and Volt would confuse customers. When the report came back, they actually showed that having similarity between the names will prove helpful.
The Volt has been around for a little while and established positive rapport among buyers, and Chevrolet now believes that Bolt customers will follow the same path.
The Bolt EV offers an unprecedented 200 mile range that people are going to love. In addition, it won’t be as pricey as many EVs on the market, with a potential starting price of only $30,000. However, production hasn’t started on the new Bolt just yet; it won’t be available until 2017.
Chevy will first make major upgrades to the Orion plant in Michigan where the new Bolt will be assembled.
We’re happy that the Bolt will retain its name and more excited for the future model to be here! To keep up with the latest Chevy news, stay tuned to our blog here at Graham Chevrolet.
As the May 16th debut grows closer, Chevrolet’s released another specification: the next generation Camaro’s stiffness will see a dramatic increase. (2015 model pictured here)
Chevrolet and General Motors have been sending out teasers, hinting here and there, and releasing small details about the sixth-generation Camaro for months now. As the May 16th debut grows closer, Chevrolet’s released another specification: the next generation Camaro’s stiffness will see a dramatic increase.
Word has it that the 2016 Camaro will be 28% stiffer than the outgoing 2015 model. Combined with lightweight materials contributing to a 200 pound drop in weight, rumors of insane horsepower, and a streamlined body, this is just one more reason to be excited for the upcoming sports car.
Increased stiffness means steering, braking, and suspension don’t have to be recalibrated to take the chassis’ flex into account. In all, it means a better driving experience for whoever happens to be behind the wheel.
The next generation Camaro has some hefty competition in the Mustang and Challenger this year. In order to hold its Bestselling Muscle Car title for a sixth year, the Camaro is going to have to have some serious output.
That doesn’t seem to be a problem, though. Expect a new four-cylinder engine to compete with the Mustang’s EcoBoost as well as an improved V8 to battle it out with the Challenger Hellcat. The all-new sixth generation Camaro debuts at Belle Isle, Michigan on May 16th – don’t miss it!
New Chevrolet vehicles have adorned the Comerica Park fountain for the past six years—and this year a Corvette and Silverado sit on top.
Opening Day of baseball season is one of the most historic and legendary annual events in American culture. For the last six years, Chevrolet has been a big part of that eventful day, thanks to the home run fountain at Comerica Park in Detroit. New Chevrolet vehicles have adorned the Comerica Park fountain for those past six years—and this year a Corvette and Silverado sit on top.
The Velocity Yellow Corvette and Midnight Edition Silverado were both installed via crane—a three hour process for each vehicle. They will be prominently featured at the park, especially every time a Tiger hits a home run. Then, the fountain will erupt with water displays and tiger will growl to support the team.
“As the Official Vehicle of Major League Baseball, what better way could Chevrolet show our love of the game than by giving our vehicles a bird’s eye view of our hometown team?” asked Paul Edwards, vice president, Chevrolet marketing. “We like to think of these vehicles as the Chevrolet cheering section to drive those centerfield home runs,” Edwards said. Come see us here to drive home your one homerun—whether it’s a Corvette, Silverado, or any other vehicle—at Graham Chevrolet!

The all-new Chevy Camaro has been completely redesigned, with 70 percent of its components being brand new to the model. With unique, more advanced elements, the Camaro is sure to be even better, and we couldn’t be more excited for its official debut.
We still have a few weeks until we will see the brand new Camaro, as it won’t be officially unveiled until May 16th, but we do know some of the extensive changes that have gone into creating the next-generation sports car. In fact, the only two parts that have been left unchanged from the previous model are the SS badge and its bowtie emblem on the tail lamp.
Mark Reuss, GM executive vice president of Global Product Development, said, “Our global engineering team is incredibly passionate about Camaro, and they sweated all the details to make Gen 6 the best Camaro we could possibly put into the hands of our customers.”
Customers should expect to see a newly designed front structure, longer and wider design, a new 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine, and new tubular “tri-Y” exhaust manifolds.

Chevrolet briefly teased the upcoming 2016 Chevy Camaro in a short video, though the vehicle remained covered in camouflage. Still – we get a clear shot of the model’s shape and get to see it in action.
You can check out the clip here on Chevrolet’s official YouTube channel to see for yourself. The sixth-gen Camaro appears towards the end of the video, which celebrates the upcoming sale of the 500,000th fifth-gen Camaro.
We don’t know much about the unreleased Camaro, but experts are pointing out that the new video sounds as if the model is powered by an LT1 V8 engine. Surely, if Chevy is showing off the Camaro like this, more details will be revealed soon.
Cosmetically, it appears that the sixth-gen Camaro’s roof hangs over the front seats a bit further, and the model has a more muscular look overall. What can you see in the 2016 Chevy Camaro video? Let us know in the comments.
